Cytoplatin 50 MG Injection contains Cisplatin 50mg, a first-generation platinum-based chemotherapy agent and one of the most widely used anti-cancer drugs across multiple cancer types.

How It Works: Cisplatin forms covalent bonds with DNA, creating intrastrand and interstrand cross-links that inhibit DNA replication and transcription, triggering apoptosis in rapidly proliferating cancer cells.

Common Uses: Testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, head and neck cancers, NSCLC, SCLC, cervical cancer, and numerous other solid tumors as a backbone chemotherapy agent.

Administration: Administered by slow IV infusion with aggressive hydration before and after to prevent nephrotoxicity. Antiemetics are mandatory due to highly emetogenic potential.

Storage: Store at room temperature between 15–25°C. Do not refrigerate. Protect from light. Do not use if precipitate is visible.
