Elinide 500 Tablet contains Nitazoxanide 500mg, a broad-spectrum antiprotozoal and anthelmintic agent used in the treatment of diarrheal diseases caused by protozoa and intestinal parasites.

How It Works: Nitazoxanide inhibits the PFOR (pyruvate ferredoxin oxidoreductase) enzyme system in anaerobic protozoa and helminths, disrupting essential electron transfer and energy production pathways, causing parasite death.

Common Uses: Cryptosporidiosis, giardiasis, amoebiasis, Blastocystis hominis, and rotavirus or norovirus-associated infectious diarrhea in adults and children.

Administration: Take twice daily with food for 3 consecutive days. Swallow tablets whole with water. Complete the full course to prevent treatment failure or relapse.
