FBD 500 Tablet contains Fenbendazole 500mg, a benzimidazole anthelmintic agent with a broad spectrum of activity against intestinal roundworms, tapeworms, whipworms, and hookworms.

How It Works: Fenbendazole binds to β-tubulin in helminth cells, inhibiting microtubule polymerization, which disrupts the parasite's cytoskeletal structure, nutrient uptake, and cell division — leading to worm death and expulsion.

Common Uses: Roundworm (Ascaris), whipworm (Trichuris), hookworm, pinworm, and other susceptible gastrointestinal helminth infections; also investigated for use in certain oncological applications.

Administration: Take once daily with food for 3 consecutive days. Swallow whole with water. A repeat course after 3 weeks may be recommended for persistent infections.
