Hodpro 50 Capsule contains Procarbazine 50mg, an oral alkylating chemotherapy agent integral to the MOPP and PCV regimens for Hodgkin's lymphoma and brain tumor chemotherapy.

How It Works: Procarbazine is a prodrug converted to reactive methylating species that alkylate DNA, causing strand breaks and cross-links, ultimately inducing apoptosis in malignant lymphoma and glioma cells.

Common Uses: Hodgkin's lymphoma (MOPP regimen), glioblastoma and anaplastic oligodendroglioma (PCV regimen with lomustine and vincristine).

Administration: Take orally with food. Strictly avoid alcohol, tyramine-containing foods, and certain concomitant medications due to weak MAO inhibition. Follow dietary restrictions provided by your oncologist.
