Ivecop 12 MG Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg, a macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic agent used in a single weight-based oral dose for the effective treatment of strongyloidiasis, scabies, onchocerciasis, and lymphatic filariasis.

How It Works: Ivermectin selectively binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, causing increased ion permeability, paralysis of the parasite's musculature, and death — with no similar receptor target in mammalian systems.

Common Uses: Strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), scabies, head lice, lymphatic filariasis, and tropical pulmonary eosinophilia.

Administration: Take on an empty stomach with water. A single dose of 150–200 mcg/kg is standard. Repeat dosing in 2 weeks may be required for scabies eradication.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry location. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
