Kemoplat 50 MG Injection contains Carboplatin 50mg, a second-generation platinum-based chemotherapy agent widely used in gynecological, lung, bladder, and other solid tumor treatment regimens.

How It Works: Carboplatin forms intrastrand and interstrand DNA cross-links via its platinum moiety, inhibiting DNA replication and RNA transcription, ultimately triggering apoptosis in tumor cells.

Common Uses: Ovarian cancer, non-small cell and small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer, head and neck cancer, and testicular cancer — often combined with paclitaxel or etoposide.

Administration: Administered by IV infusion over at least 15–60 minutes by trained oncology staff. Dose calculated using the Calvert formula based on GFR/creatinine clearance.

Storage: Store at room temperature below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not refrigerate. Use within recommended period after dilution.
