How It Works: Tetracycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing aminoacyl-tRNA from attaching to the ribosomal mRNA complex. This effectively halts bacterial replication through bacteriostatic action.
