Tykerb 250 MG Tablet contains Lapatinib 250mg, a dual tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting both HER2 and EGFR, used in combination with capecitabine for HER2-positive advanced breast cancer.

How It Works: Lapatinib reversibly inhibits the intracellular tyrosine kinase domains of both EGFR (ErbB1) and HER2 (ErbB2), blocking downstream signaling that drives HER2-amplified tumor cell proliferation.

Common Uses: HER2-positive advanced or metastatic breast cancer in combination with capecitabine after trastuzumab and chemotherapy failure; also used with letrozole in ER+/HER2+ postmenopausal women.

Administration: Take once daily on an empty stomach — at least 1 hour before or 1 hour after a meal. Do not divide the daily dose. Swallow tablets whole.
