Weemect 12 Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent used for the oral treatment of strongyloidiasis, scabies, onchocerciasis, and filariasis through established weight-based single-dose protocols.

How It Works: Ivermectin causes irreversible opening of glutamate-gated chloride channels in parasitic invertebrates, resulting in neuromuscular blockade, paralysis, and clearance of susceptible helminths and ectoparasites.

Common Uses: Strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, lymphatic filariasis, scabies (classical and crusted), head lice, and tropical parasitic infections involving skin or subcutaneous tissues.

Administration: Administer as a single fasted dose with water. Your physician will calculate the dose per body weight. Repeat dosing schedules apply for scabies and certain filarial infections.
