Zelgor 250 MG Tablet contains Abiraterone Acetate 250mg, a CYP17A1 enzyme inhibitor that blocks androgen biosynthesis in adrenal glands, testes, and prostate tumor tissue for advanced prostate cancer treatment.

How It Works: Abiraterone inhibits CYP17A1, reducing testosterone and other androgen production at all sites of synthesis, achieving deeper androgen suppression than LHRH analogues alone.

Common Uses: Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC), in combination with prednisone.

Administration: Take on an empty stomach — no food for at least 2 hours before and 1 hour after dosing. Take with low-dose prednisone or prednisolone as prescribed.
