Zildox 100 MG Injection contains Liposomal Doxorubicin 100mg, a pegylated liposomal formulation of the classic anthracycline chemotherapy agent, designed to improve tumor targeting and reduce cardiac toxicity.

How It Works: Doxorubicin intercalates into DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, disrupting DNA replication in cancer cells. The liposomal encapsulation preferentially accumulates in tumor tissue via the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect.

Common Uses: Ovarian cancer (after platinum failure), AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma, multiple myeloma (with bortezomib), and metastatic breast cancer.

Administration: Administered by intravenous infusion by trained healthcare staff. Infusion rate must be carefully controlled to minimize infusion reactions and palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia (hand-foot syndrome).
